How to Donate?

Donation is a result of personal and often emotional decision. Investing your own money, energy, time and effort in something you believe will bring benefits to other people and to the community is a right and brave decision. That is why you need to think well about it.

FIRST STEP:  PLANNING THE DONATION

What can I donate?  Donations can be in the form of cash but also material goods, intellectual and other services that you can make available to those who need them.

Where and who needs my donations?  Make your own research whereby you will identify the area in which you would like to donate. Such areas are: healthcare, social protection, culture, education and science, sport, environment protection etc. Once you decide in which area to donate, identify the entity that will be potential beneficiary (recipient) of your donation.

ADVICE: Mass media and the internet are inexhaustible sources of information for your research.  Contact Konekt for guidelines and advice which will help you get more information to make the right decision.

SECOND STEP: MAKING THE DONATION

There are many ways to donate:

  • by SMS or phone call
  • in donation boxes
  • on a transaction or gyro account
  • material goods to those that need them
  • buying tickets for charity events
  • through web platform for online donation.

Through this platform, Konekt gives you an opportunity to make your donation quickly and easily in some of the trusted civil society organizations, about which you can read more here (link to the Trust Mark). There you can find organizations that passed the system checks and are marked as trusted organizations.  You will make the donation with only a few clicks, fast and simply.

THIRD STEP:  CHECKING THE RESULTS OF THE DONATION

The responsible donator would like to know how their donation is used and whether the expected results have been achieved. By expressing your interest in terms of how your donation was used, you demonstrate that you really care for the good of others and the community, which in fact is a characteristic of a real philanthropist.

If you have made your donation online through our web platform, you could follow the progress of the collected funds and reports on the implemented activities.
